《奇愛博士 Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb[電影解說]》劇情簡介：美國空軍將領(lǐng)杰克?瑞（斯特林·海登 Sterling Hayden 飾）懷疑蘇共的“腐朽思想”正在毒害“正直善良”的美國人民，他于是下令攜帶核彈頭的飛行部隊前往蘇聯(lián)，對敵人進(jìn)行毀滅性的核打擊。蘇聯(lián)方面得知此事，立即致電美國總統(tǒng)墨爾金?馬夫雷（彼得·塞勒斯 Peter Sellers 飾），并威脅如若領(lǐng)土遭到攻擊，蘇聯(lián)將不惜一切代價按下“世界末日裝置”。該裝置的威力足以摧毀地球上所有的生命。 一場有關(guān)全人類乃至整個地球命運(yùn)的戰(zhàn)爭就這樣悄然且荒誕地拉開了序幕…… 影片根據(jù)彼得?喬治1958年的小說《紅色警戒（Red Alert）》改編而成，與《2001漫游太空》、《發(fā)條橙》并稱為“未來三部曲”。
